PRISAA composed of regional prexies and executive officers conducted National Board meeting today, March 9, 2024 in University of San Carlos, Cebu City.

Among the important issues discussed were the status of membership of CESAFI member-institutions and the separation of Negros Islands to Region 6. Cebu and the Western Visayas are among the powerhouse teams in terms of medal ranking in PRISAA.

Bicol’s preparation for PRISAA National Games highlighted the meeting. Its National President, Edgar C. Balasta presented their plans and programs of accommodating 10,000 athletes from all over the country.

“Our city, headed by our Mayor Carmen Geraldine Rosal, is ready to host PNG 2024, as previously committed by our LGU!” Balasta said

PRISAA Board members were overwhelmed by the support of Sen. Bong Go thru the Philippine Sports Commission. Go, Senate committee on sports will assist the conduct of the PRISAA National Games 2024.

“Sen Bong Go, saw the needs to support PRISAA while PSC acknowledges the association as a strong government partner for national grassroots program.” Said by Commissioner Edward Hayco pf PSC.

PRISAA Cebu headed by, Fr. Francisco Estefa, SVD- USC President and Fr. Adriano Ocariza, SVD, PRISAA Region 7 President welcomes the BOT members and officers.
